GLENDALE, Ariz. (January 22, 2026) – Following the fourth PBR Teams season, the league today announced that the Arizona Ridge Riders’ Casey Lane has been voted General Manager of the Year.
Under Lane’s stewardship, the Ridge Riders have been one of the league’s most consistent and top performers. Ending the 2025 regular season with a 22-13 record for a franchise-best fourth-place finish, they have been one of two teams to qualify for Championship Day in three of the league’s four seasons.
In 2025, the team also set a franchise record for the highest riding percentage in a single season – going 82-for-175 (46.9%). Arizona also tied the league record of most rides in a single event weekend – with 11 rides in Anaheim, California at a neutral site event.
PBR Teams General Manager of the Year is determined by a vote of their peers from league’s ten teams.
“This is a real honor,” Lane said. “I’ve taken so much professional joy in being involved with this growing league, other general managers, brand partners, the fans, and most of all the hard-working, courageous bull rider athletes they come to see. Every single team GM is worthy of this recognition, and I’m flattered they chose me.”
“This peer-voted honor is so well-deserved and not surprising one bit,” said Shawn Colo, Executive Chairman, Teton Ridge. “Casey’s immense knowledge and experience in Western sports and deep industry relationships, paired with his authenticity and Madison Avenue street smarts, continues to deliver incredible results for the Ridge Riders.”
“Casey Lane is helping set the standard for what it means to be a General Manager in PBR Teams,” said Sean Gleason, CEO and Commissioner of PBR. “Under his leadership, the Arizona Ridge Riders have been consistently competitive, delivered standout performances, and built one of the most engaged and passionate fan bases. From roster construction to event execution, Casey’s vision and commitment are crucial to the continued growth and success of both the Ridge Riders and the PBR Teams League.”
PBR Teams welcomed 272,315 fans to events in the 2025 season, a record. Broadcasts on CBS and the CW reached more than 28 million fans over the season.
Lane is an accomplished sports business executive with more than two decades of sponsorship and strategy experience – with a supreme focus in Western sports. His appreciation of the Western landscape is rooted in his childhood – raised on a cattle ranch in California where in addition to working on the ranch he was actively involved in rodeo sports and FFA. After graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, throughout his 20 years in the industry, he has served a variety of top-tier properties including PBR, IndyCar, the Indianapolis 500, the NBA All-Star Game, Barrett Jackson, USA 7’s Rugby and NASCAR; in addition to advertisers like YETI, Kawasaki, Monster Energy, Anheuser-Busch, Ford, Enterprise Rental Car, Muscle Milk, MGM Resorts and more. In his role with the Ridge Riders, Lane oversees the management of the roster, coaching and training, and works closely with team staff in areas including budgeting, event operations, marketing, communications, social media, and sponsorships. Lane resides in Zionsville, Indiana with his wife of 26 years Kate and their three kids, Emilia, Craig and Knox.
